Skills in acting, singing, dancing, storytelling, and theatre background are developed under the guidance of theatre professionals. No acting experience is necessary. Volunteer actors share in a weekend community with the other families at Nacmine campground. Set in the towering cottonwoods on the side of the Red Deer river our actors spend the evenings around campfires swapping stories of the day and breaking bread with the cast and crew. A true community working together to perform the greatest story ever told. The experience culminates in performing seven shows on an epic outdoor stage in front of over 14,000 people. Auditions are being held in Calgary February 27. There are also many opportunities for non-performers to be involved with the Passion Play.
